Well, i want to go to college. Im not sure on where or which school, hopefully i get accepted to one that i like. Im leaning to study Food Science and become a food scientist. After school i hope to work for a company or the government.
i really want to work for a company and produce flavors. Hopefully a big company brand, they pay well and they are more open with experiments on products.
Im not really sure about becoming a Food scientist but it been on my mind ever since i found out about his career. It seemed interesting and a job suitable for me to not get bored and experiment.

- How does the salary differ according to different geographic locations?
- How much education does it require?
It at least requires a college bachelor. - What are personalities like for people that have these jobs?
I think Food Scientist like to experiment and are adventures people.
Food Science seems like a really cool career choice. I can relate to you in saying that jobs often pay more as according to who employs you, rather than to the location of the job.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual profession to pursue! We have some culinary internships that might interest you - just as background - if you want to discuss those. Come see me in the CCC when school starts!
ReplyDeleteThat's such a unique profession, and it's really cool that you know exactly what you want to do within the field of food science. There are likely lots of good opportunities with producing flavors, as there is always a demand for new kinds of food and new ways to process food. Some schools might not specifically have a food science major, so I would recommend studying chemistry if the college you go to does not have it as a major, as that seems like the most related field. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI'd never even heard of food science before! Very unique and interesting job choice
