In my distant future, I can see myself majoring in film production or business.
For film production, there are many different fields that you can go into from there. Ranging from directing, cinematography, acting, editing, special effects, costumes, makeup, stage-runner, producer, to even casting; there are plenty of different jobs. Meaning that there isn't an average pay if you choose to enter this field. You typically get paid on how successful your movie is in the long run. In many cases, it doesn't require a lot of education and your geographical region won't affect your pay. It simply requires you to be creative and hardworking.
For business, I researched information on a sales representative 1 job that is solely based on incentives. The average annual income is $46, 700. Pay may vary depending on a number of factors including industry, company size, location, years of experience and level of education. Requires a minimum of an associate's degree or its equivalent with 1-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
In addition to your basic sales representative, I took a look at an IT Project Manager. The average annual income is about $90,000, as they are responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. They oversee all aspects of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects. All while building and maintaining working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. This job may require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area, and should be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. They rely on limited experience and judgment to plan, accomplish goals, and perform a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
