I plan to attend a 4 year college once I am finished with high school. Some majors that have gone through my mind include environmental science, graphic design and marketing. However, I have no solid ideas of what I actually plan to do career-wise. So the jobs that correlate with these majors may or may not be the jobs I actually plan to apply for when the time comes.
The first job that applies to these majors involves marketing as its main focus. It is an application for Lucasfilms. The is titled as "The Senior Marketing Manager", that "drives the planning and execution of global franchise and entertainment marketing plans working in conjunction with both teams and outside partners". It holds an incredible amount of responsibility, and the company depends on this persons actions. It does not list what it requires for education, though it does list other "desires" of the applicant. Also, this is a project job, so it only requires employment for seven months. People who would take on this project would have to have a great work ethic, and also be a team player. The salary is not stated in the job description, though they mention it is not hourly.
Another job, that instead applies to my major in graphic design is called "Digital Designer" for "Title Nine": a multi-channel retailer that sells women's athletic apparel and sportswear. The main focus of the job is on e-commerce and websites. Additional "scopes" include social media, events, and internal communications. The yearly salary is 401k, with paid time off, medical/dental insurance and benefits (such as discounts) to their company. The personality that would come with this job would persevering and ambitious, as there are many situations or problems that would need to be taken down. The requirements include years of experience with web design and mullet media, a BFA in Graphic Design, and e-commerce experience.
The last job that I found, was an environmental job that focused on reviewing "the cleanup of leaks from underground or aboveground tanks and pipelines, waste release sites, and other oversight". The salary is exactly $3077.50-$5882.00 per month, as it is a full time job. In order to have this job, there needs to be an attitude of attention to detail, and diligence, as the job is directed towards catching specific waste spills in a whole region. The education requirement is not listed, but it is obvious that there must be a lot of previous knowledge in order to do this job correctly.
I have always been interested in environmental science, and I've never heard of the job that you listed (cleaning leaks from underground or aboveground tanks and pipelines). Although that job isn't especially appealing to me, it's interesting to know how many different jobs there are out there.
