Work Readiness Skills

In my internship at Earthscope, I used Work Readiness skills to my advantage.  I have worked so far with diligence on the given assignments.  For example, we were required to write questions in order to interview, and there was a lot of research required to create these questions, and then ask them in an orderly fashion to the person we were interviewing.  This took not only diligence, but dedication.  It was necessary to be dedicated to the topic in order to be completely involved and interested in our work.  Because of these skills, I have thoroughly learned about this area of knowledge, and will soon be doing a radio report on it.
So far, I don't think I have shown too many weaknesses with my Work Readiness Skills.  Probably one I could work on however, would be communicating effectively, as it is a vital tool for this internship and the work we are currently doing.

  1. There are multiple posts mentioning this interview. Are you working as a team? If so, good job on that. I could probably not do such a thing with so many people, as I am so used to working alone.

  2. Geffen, I think that you're really good with working in a team and that you're actually a good communicator. You always completed what needed to be done on time and were really reliable.

I agree that the interview process immerses us into different fields of knowledge, which is something I've found to be beneficial because before this internship, I'd never really known much about environmental issues.
