Week 2 - Work Readiness Skills


Example of using one of the Work Readiness Skills in a positive way that supported my success:
I used diligence in my work, making sure I was detail orientated and asked any questions that would make my work process easier.
I was professional, looking and acting appropriate so I could make a good first impression.

What I learned from my example:

I learned that everyday something is required of you and it is your responsibility to out forth your best work, and that being professional is key to showing your boss that you can handle the job.


Example of a Work Readiness Skill Weakness that held me back this week.  Explain what needs to change or what you need to do differently:
One weakness that held me back this week was my communication; I was shy because I was meeting new people and could have been more vocal with everyone. In the future I will speak more confidentially.
