  1. Julia,
I can thoroughly relate to your effort to maintain ideal grades and preform well on the SAT throughout the extremely stressful period of life that is high school. Especially with work, sports, or any other extracurricular activities, there is very little remaining time and energy for focusing on schoolwork. I have found that all the work you put into school pays off, and it will surely help your achieve your long-term goal of going to college. Good luck!

    1. @Sean: thanks for the really encouraging comment. You are right that it is super tough to balance all of those things; and also right that it pays off. Thank you for being a supportive classmate.

  2. @Julia: I like your goal/habit of wanting to turn stuff in on time. This is a habit that will serve you well for the rest of your life. In every job I have applied for this comes up in the interview, and in the hundreds of interviews I have conducted, it comes up every time. I encourage you to work very hard on this, it will support your success in the future.

  3. Julia, I really like your habits and goals! I share the goal of wanting to maintain my strong GPA and the habit of trying not to bite my fingernails. Like Sean, I also have found that working hard at school can be tough but is generally very rewarding, and I wish you good luck on the SAT. Lastly, I can't wait to work with you this summer at the Earthscope Internship!

  4. I can relate to your educational goals, because I want to keep my grades up and improve on my SAT score as well. Getting into college is stressful too. Having a school counselor as an ally is a good idea and I want to get to know mine better. Good ideas and good goals!
